BSJ: Transfiguration
Another great piece from our ongoing project, Bible Story Jam, this time on the Transfiguration as found in Luke 9:28-45, the reading many of us will hear in church this Sunday. What kind of mountaintop experiences have you had? What do you make of them? Can you relate them to what happens with Jesus and his disciples? And how might you – all of us – better listen to Jesus? Take three minutes and see what you think.

I liked watching this. I’m preparing for my lay sermon on Sunday…this is a helpful resource.
Thank you!
I am also preparing for sermon this Transfiguration Sunday and this was helpful. It was also great to see my prof. Dr. Lose of LS. Thanks and God bless!
I’m preparing for another day with a 3-year-old, a 25-year-old mom, and a 36-year-old wanna-be dad who struggle to find the God they believe in within the institutional church. These words today have given me strength to listen … just listen. Thank you.
Curiosity: How did the disciples know the two men were Moses and Elijah – by sight? by expectation? by esp?
