What Does Love Look Like to You?
Since stumbling upon Kid President’s pep talk last week, I’ve become a huge fan of Soul Pancake. I can’t quite figure out what it is, who they are, or what they’re up to, but I like their stuff nevertheless.
So take a look at this short flick they put together on “What does Love look like to YOU?” They sent out this question to the folks following their work and asked them — anyone — to send short video answers. Then they put a number of them together, added a little background music, and voila. The result, I think, is powerful.
Anyone up for putting together “What does Faith look like to YOU?” Or maybe, “What does God’s Love look like to YOU?” I’m game if you are. ☺

Love this site, too!
I don’t know how to make a video, but I’m game to learn as I know what this readership would pull together would be amazing!
I simply love this site!
And now I have my introduction to Lent–what does faith look like to you? Awesome. Too bad I’m not a videographer on the side. I love these–thanks for doing the leg work here. BTW, my older midwestern congregation knows what faith looks like, even if they won’t talk about it. The one thing they know for sure is how to put one foot in front of the other. . . .
What does faith look like? What does God’s love look like? Good questions!
I would say that God’s love is unconditional, as opposed to human love. We are His creations and He loves us. Period.
Our part is to have faith in that love…to go on in spite of all that may happen. Picking ourselves up and putting one foot in front of the other, knowing that we are connected forever to our Creator. That nothing can separate us, as Paul says, neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present or the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I love Soul Pancake. Soul Pancake is featured on Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday program (which is the most spiritually informing show I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t miss it). Soul Pancake is the brain-child of the man who played Dwight on the TV sitcom “The Office”. It got it’s name because it’s these little short pieces sandwiched in between segments of Super Soul Sunday programs.
You can watch the programs already aired by going to oprah.com. I think you’ll like it.
