Frozen Firefighters
It doesn’t get much sweeter than this. A group of Massachusetts firefighters report to the scene of a stuck elevator. When they put up a ladder to bring people down, they realize one of the occupants – four year old Kaelyn – is visibly upset, so one of the firefighters, who’s also a dad, starts talking with Kaelyn about her favorite movie, Disney’s Frozen. And then another firefighting dad whips out his iPhone, starts playing the major song from the film, and all the firefighters – and Kaelyn – join in. By the time they’re done, Kaelyn is calm and things move along pretty well. Nice work by firefighters who are also empathetic parents!

This says something to me about being WITH people, speaking their language, rather than talking at them trying to convince by reason. But it’s all still pretty fuzzy in my head. Something for me to mull on. Thanks for posting this.
Awesome… just pure win all the way around.
