Advent Break: Let it Go
I enjoy the work of the Piano Guys. Yes, I know, they can be a tad dramatic, but of course that’s part of the fun. I’ve shared several of their pieces in years past and thought this adaptation of Vivaldi’s “Winter” – first done by Disney for the song “Let it Go” for their hit movie Frozen – provided a nice break from whatever you might be doing.
And, in case you’re wondering, it’s real snow and ice that surrounds them!

Wow!! Talk about being “voices crying in the Wilderness ‘in the Meantime!’ I belly laughed and cried and felt so freed and empowered from this 4 minute movie. It was SO empowering and healing for me after walking with so many people in dangerous/ difficult situations in the midst of times of great change in the Bakken Boom town I serve.
Yesterday’s TED talk showed the power of a dream and a vision!
Thanks for lifting up life-giving stories that help us keep things in perspective and experience the big picture!!
God flows through you, David! Blessings on your new beginnings “back East”.
I love how much passion they put into this as well as how much fun they seem to be having. It’s a good reminder about what vocation is meant to look like, maybe not all of the time, but at least a good part of it!
